Connecting rods
Many customers find that following many hours of operation of medium speed diesel engines it is common for the large end bores to suffer ovality, which renders the connecting rod unusable.

We are able to offer a complete reconditioning service to return the equipment to “as new” condition within manufacturers tolerances.
Upon arrival in our works all connecting rods are inspected. Both the large & small end bores are calibrated.
Serrations are NDT crack detected if applicable & the rod checked for twist & straightness. |
An inspection report is issued to the customer detailing all findings & any remedial work required.
Upon completion a final report is issued detailing all work undertaken showing calibrations before & after overhaul.
